Wads with interesting intermission screens

This lovely little episode here: 

It has fully animated intermission screens, and a good sense of narrative progression, on top of just being well-crafted across the board.

 

Likewise, Xaser's The Lost Episode also sports a D1 style intermission screen. Have a look:

A cool asteroid base! In true Doom fashion, the intermission screen has little to do with the actual maps :P

 

On the topic of OG Doom, Doom The Way id Did also has its own custom intermission screens. Similar to the original in terms of layout, but stylistically distinct from it.

Looks like the best one in this list in case of quality that close to the original one. "Ascent of Titan" is too modern and just doesn't fit, when "Doom The Way id Did" rework some classic in a way of Borderlands style called cel-shaded or smh.

 

List is quite short... Seems to people mostly not care about this option, ever now, when intermission editor for Doom II exist.

It takes lots of time, apparently. Id lost the motivation for them when Tom Hall quit, and the community has essentially followed suit.

I've played "Going Down", but not remember what the deal about intermission screens was there. Well, it least if we talk about classic meaning of it.
