ViolentBeetle Posted October 2, 2021 Seems like description of episode 4 wasn't entirely clear. You aren't supposed to walk on sky. The theme is about platforms floating in the sky, away from solid ground, so something solid must be present in where you are meant to be walking, but when you look outside the map, through a window, or fence, you see sky below and no solid ground. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post

Second: we really make it for Ultimate Doom WAD file, so absolutely no super shotguns, no endless streams of revenants, no archviles, nothing but good old Ultimate Doom stuff, just with additional textures? Only doom 1 monsters and guns. Additonally: There seems to be an issue with switches I didn't anticipate. I'll have to go and see what's up with that tomorrow. For now, be careful. ViolentBeetle Posted October 2, 2021 It turned out switches introduced in Doom 2 do not change properly in Ultimate Doom. I didn't anticipate it, considering animations work fine on both PrBoom and Crispy, but live and learn. So it doesn't need to be depicted. Still, you can have some buildings if you want to. Also we are doing limit-removing, not Boom, anyway. It's also less relevant for E4M8 because crater is probably mostly rock. ok ( using "doom: doom (doom format)" in ultimate doom builder) I have discovered something odd though when testing... in the editor the 4 crater images looks ok, but ingame they have some very distinct lines all around them?
