How do i fix a line horizon problem?

JAMMX

Question

Hey, so i was working on a map and used the line action "line horizon" it worked just fine... but suddenly when i tried to use it again, the action is there but once i tested it, it does not appear in my source port... is that a common issue and how do i fix it? im using LZdoom v.3.85 sourceport as a testing application, DooM Builder 2 and ZDoom UDMF as a format.

edit: i apologize in advance, results to be that the reason behind the issue is the version of the application... i tested with version 3.82 and works fine... is there a reason for that failure?

About line horizon though..

If you are planning to make larger map (city, castle), line horizon drops performance like crazy ! I have a fairly large map and with line horizon I get 20-50 fps less (from ~200 to 160s). Take that in consideration, or do some testing.

Do you have any particular reason for using outdated DoomBuilder2? Just grab UDB and use it, it has many advantages over DB2.

Im using doom builder 2 beacuse my computer cant handle UDB due to not having a proper graphic card, but, i tested with DooM Builder X and its working for me, so thats the main reason for me using that program in particular.

If your PC can't run UDB, then I'd suggest that you use the last version of GZDB-BF instead, it has most of the same feature set of UDB (Since the latter is a rebranding of the former.), and it will be able to run on non OpenGL 3 cards too, you can find the last version released here: https://devbuilds.drdteam.org/gzdbbf/

Hey thanks a lot! i denfinetly gonna give it a try!
