Nights Posted October 8, 2021 It’s me again. So I finally put everything back in my pc case, every single plug, every single screw, all of it. I plugged in my pc, and nothing. No lights, no power. Absolutely nothing. I checked to see if the PSU light was on, but no. If you couldn’t tell, I’m relatively new to the pc scene, so forgive me if I sound dumb in my words, it’s just because I don’t know who else to ask. At this point I’m convinced I somehow fried my motherboard, even though I’ve been on a hardwood floor this whole time 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Murdoch Posted October 8, 2021 Remote diagnosis is hard. 100% dead usually means dead or improperly connected power supply. Dead motherboards will usually power up but nothing will happen, ie: no boot screen nor windows loading. It takes one hell of a surge to render a board totally dead normally. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
DuckReconMajor Posted October 8, 2021 I hate to ask the obvious question, but, is the PSU switched to the On position? Can you confirm the power outlet you're using is working? Just dumb stuff I forget sometimes Reading your old thread, is this the Dell pre-built you re-assembled? 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
