Lost Mission from moddb won't launch through dhewm3

Never launched it through dhewm3 before so I'm not sure what's going on, I just finished the base game and expansion with zero issues.

I was never able to get it to work either, would love to know how.

you need to get the dhewm3-mods zip from dhewm3 release on github then extract d3le.dll to your main \dhewm3 folder

@sluggard Oof, what an oversight, I actually downloaded that too but that was before I went through the other stuff with the port so I'd completely forgotten. I saw it detected it under mods in the main menu so you can imagine my confusion when it wouldn't load. Thanks!

Unfortunately it seems when loading it through mods in-game it transitions to a black screen with a huge cursor and the only way out is to kill the process through task manager.

cause it needs to use resurrection of evil as a base, if you load it through mods it uses regular doom 3 as a base instead, use d3le.bat to load it or add this to your game shortcut

 

+set fs_game d3le +set fs_game_base d3xp
