FTP Clients?

I've heard you need an FTP Client to upload to the Idgames Archive, but I don't have any installed and I'm not sure what one I should get, what one do people often use?

I stick by FileZilla. It's pretty darn good.

 

Way back in the past, I used to use WS_FTP, as well. Think I switched off from that when they began getting a bit pushy with money.

If you want to use an FTP client, FileZilla is probably your best one as Dark Pulse suggested.

WinSCP and Windows FE only apply to Windows, FileZilla has builds for Windows as well as most flavours of Linux, and probably Mac as well.

 

@northivanastan is right though - the new ID Games upload page is much easier than using an FTP client, but it's probably worth getting the hang of an FTP client anyway - it's a useful thing to know.

I use ncftpput.  Though technically not a client, it's a lot faster.
