DukeOfDoom Posted October 31, 2021 The very first version of my new E1 DOOM mappack done for NaNoWADMO 2021. Includes maps E1M1-E1M5, E1M8 and E1M9. In the future, E1M6 and E1M7 will also be made. IWAD: DOOM.WAD CUSTOM TEXTURES: YES (from DOOM 2) CUSTOM MUSIC: YES (just mashed up DOOM 1 compositions ^^; will improve that later) PORT: for now limit-removing or vanilla. head_cannon Posted November 1, 2021 m_mFDAhc.zip Hello, I recorded an FDA in Crispy Doom that lasts about an hour, making it to near the end of E1M3. It contains a lot of wandering around trying to figure out what opens what, but I still had fun, and will come back to give this a proper playthrough once the missing pieces are in place and the mapset is complete. Moon Madness might have been a bit convoluted, but the architecture, lighting, and texturing were all quite solid and its levels felt dangerous while still providing the player enough resources to make it through. I speak up mostly, though, because I got a strange error when I tried loading the first level in PrBoom+: Quote I_SignalHandler: Exiting on signal: signal 11 I have no idea what that means, but hopefully a wiser member of the forum will be able to clarify why that crash is happening. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
