Shibainumaster Posted November 2, 2021 (edited) I made a map 18 replacement today, it's quite a large map, and when i test it in doom builder some places can be walked right trough as if i have IDCLIP on. What's causing this issue? Edited November 2, 2021 by Shibainumaster 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
ChopBlock223 Posted November 2, 2021 Sounds like the nodes aren't right. Try maybe isolating the trouble areas, and doing some work on them to see if they can be fixed? Sometimes stuff like this can be simple. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post

Do you mean that the nodebuilder is trying to read the troubled areas, but the nodes there are incorrectly structured? 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

Nine Inch Heels Posted November 3, 2021 It's impossible to say what the cause of your problem was without having had an opportunity to look at the map in question, but, as a general rule of thumb, I try to keep any map I make below a 30k x 30k size on the grid (a size I never thought I'd reach, but making RJ maps requires incredible amounts of "real estate", potentially anyway)... If your map was smaller than that, then it could have been the nodebuilder playing tricks on you, or other, more obscure problems possibly related to joined sectors or the likes... Again, too hard to tell without anything tangible to look at... 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
