Story text won't show up

I've written some custom story text to play after e2m8 (ultimate doom) on Whacked4 and so far, I can't get it to show up in the pwad I'm trying to run it with. I thought it was a text limit problem so I shortened it, doesn't work. I try putting it in SLADE as a DEHACKED, doesn't work. I make another .deh, doesn't work. I don't know what the issue is.

 

Here's the original text:

It appears that the one's 
responsible for the invasion
of UAC Houston and all the death
brought with it have had their
true forms revealed, and without the
transmutator, their terrible takeover
ends here.

The two creatures die off as their 
burnt feathered corpses begin to 
smoke, you feel the relief from what 
you've gone through. You are awarded
the Medal of Honor for saving mankind
and are taken back home a hero.
Rest now soldier...

Found out what happened. No help needed anymore. Someone close this thread plz.

oh yeah, right.

 

So basically I solved the issue because I realized I had it on Ultimate Doom 1.9 and not BOOM. Just do BOOM, it's easier and most of you all play on newer ports anyways.
