Sound not working on Crispy Heretic.

Can somebody help me with this problem? I've already tried change the sound to MIDI, GUS, GPl, but none of them work.

Depends. Can you post your cfg and a screenshot of whats in the Crispy Heretic folder?

 

What were you doing exactly before this occurred?

I just discovered that the sound won't work if I put it in the max volume and I also discovered that the sound effects of the game only work when the music is enabled for some reason, I will post my cfg and a screenshot of my crispy heretic folder asap.

Although, if I play with music enabled, the music is very loud and the sound effects of the game are incredibly low.

It looks like a problem with the midiproc. Try to open Windows Sound Mixer and change the volume for crispy-heretic.exe and crispy-midiproc.exe.

If that doesn't help, you may need to edit the registry.

I just checked it, for some reason when I change the volume of the crispy heretic it only changes the volume of the music, the volume of the sfx remains the same and if I mute the music, the sfx also gets muted, it's almost like the sfx of the game was a small portion of the music.

I built Crispy Heretic without midiproc for you. Just in case run it in a separate folder:   

crispy-heretic-5.10.3-win64.zip
