Can you post your cfg and a screenshot of whats in the Crispy Heretic folder? What were you doing exactly before this occurred? 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

I just discovered that the sound won't work if I put it in the max volume and I also discovered that the sound effects of the game only work when the music is enabled for some reason, I will post my cfg and a screenshot of my crispy heretic folder asap. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

Although, if I play with music enabled, the music is very loud and the sound effects of the game are incredibly low. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
rfomin Posted November 7, 2021 It looks like a problem with the midiproc. Try to open Windows Sound Mixer and change the volume for crispy-heretic.exe and crispy-midiproc.exe. If that doesn't help, you may need to edit the registry. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

I just checked it, for some reason when I change the volume of the crispy heretic it only changes the volume of the music, the volume of the sfx remains the same and if I mute the music, the sfx also gets muted, it's almost like the sfx of the game was a small portion of the music. rfomin Posted November 9, 2021 I built Crispy Heretic without midiproc for you. Just in case run it in a separate folder: crispy-heretic-5.10.3-win64.zip 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
