Doom II maps in The Ultimate Doom?

I remember playing through Jimmy's excellent Deathless mapset and being pleasantly surprised by (most of) the secret maps turning out to be remakes of Doom II levels; not only because they tend to be better designed and more challenging than their original counterparts, but also because many Doom II maps (usually Romero and McGee's) do look and feel like they belong in a Thy Flesh Consumed-style episode. As such, I can easily see The Ultimate Doom getting at least two additional episodes worth of extra content.

 

I have to wonder: are there mapsets out there that do just that?
