wallpaper abyss also has quite good images. however I don't know if they can be used for skybox.

i cheked it out, yeah, it's very neat. you can find anything by search terms.

I grab mine off google images or bing images, bring up "save image as", name it, resize it in mspaint, or make my own, and put it in my wads.

Yup! I made one from my own photo too. If you want good blending use Gimp tile seamless.
