How likely is it that Aliens TC would be brought over to the console versions of Doom Classic?

I guess this is down to opinion, but I genuinely think the weapon replacement sprites hold up even today. If someone used those sprites in a brand new mod, I don't think a single person would comment that they look bad. They're surprisingly competent for how old it is!

 

The enemy sprites are a little aged, and definitely not up to snuff with Doom's generally clean but detailed spritework, but I genuinely think they look as good as most other "Doom clone" sprites from that era, so they're not bad or anything.

 

(Not that any of this means Aliens TC will ever, ever be on the console, but it seems people are holding a Doom mod to an oddly high standard, especially one this old. The level designs show their age a lot more than the spritework, truth be told!)

Aliens tc will forever be an oddity because of that, the wad shows the cost of ambition.  It was the bleeding edge of wad design, it's an important piece of history but it can't be judged on it's own merits because of how unique it is.
