I'd say Karen Doom for me. It's ridiculous and obnoxious, but also has a great level of detail and imagination put into it as well. It's definitely the best jokeWAD/shitpost mapset I've played in my short Dooming career.

An obvious choice for me is Killing Adventure by Ruba.

It is technically not a very good wad, but when you play it is very fun and addictive. Purely because so many maps can brew down to destroying masses of monsters with the high tier weapons if you know how to play the maps right.

doom forever (which is an russian bootleg of ps1 doom) has some of the most weirdest most retarded textures enemy sprites and weapon sprites i have ever seen. the cacodemon is replaced by a bird. the pain elemental has the exact same bird sprites as the caco. they didn't even bother with replacing all the sprites for the archvile and just replaced like half of them instead and went "im sure nobody will notice" sometimes you can find porn on the walls because for some reason they replaced some of the textures with naked ladies. its like a shitpost. and i love it

Honestly, DTS-T if you can stomach it. It's not for everyone as there are some really irritating sections in that megawad but if you can look past it, I think it's charming. It's got a serious amount of effort put into it and even though the actual look and design of the levels aren't good, they're still enjoyable.

 

Also there was one wad I don't exactly know the name of. I think it was called Threshold of Glory or Thrones of Glory or Fields of Glory.

 

You know it's the one if you boot it up and see Doomguy's face in the HUD replaced by a weird Silver Surfer clone with brown hair.
