Master O Posted December 9, 2021 https://www.nintendolife.com/news/2021/12/masayuki-uemura-creator-of-the-nes-and-snes-has-passed-away To say that the NES and SNES were successful is certainly an understatement. 19 Quote Share this post Link to post

Reisal Posted December 9, 2021 I liked Golf on the NES, out of the games listed there. Thanks for the memories, dude. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Doomkid Posted December 9, 2021 One of the founding fathers of “video games” as we know them. What a huge legacy. Thanks for all the great memories and Rest In Peace. 8 Quote Share this post Link to post

Murdoch Posted December 9, 2021 I never owned a Nintendo myself, but my memories of playing on an old NES with my friend when we were kids and him getting pissed off and conducting an informal build quality test on those controllers will always raise a smile. A worthy legacy. RIP sir. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
Wavy Posted December 10, 2021 (edited) Damn. Masayuki was really a legend and he helped create my favourite system of all time, the SNES. Rest in Piece. Edited December 10, 2021 by Wavy 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
THEBaratusII Posted December 10, 2021 (edited) I remember the times when I played Super Mario Bros and Dr. Mario back when I was young, and while also playing Killer Instinct, Mortal Kombat and NBA Jam on the SNES while in my teens. Also it really was good times when me and my brother fought with each other in the SNES version of Killer Instinct (played via emulation at the time). May he Rest in Peace.
