texture packs IDTech1

so alot of people seem to know alot of texture packs

 

I know of only OTEX and CC4TEX

I've seen and heard of other... shouldn't we have a thread to have them all mentioned in one place as well as have all relevant links in one place?

I will have no idea of whats out there otherwise... also... what IDTech1 games do they support? is cc4tex and otex only for doom? what about texture packs for hexen, heretic, chex, strife etc ?

I noticed hexen 2 textures but not hexen 1, so I have just now converted the textures (textures and flats) from the hexen demo to doom

I decided to convert the textures from the heretic 1 demo to doom 2 as well

You my padawan haven't read the DoomWiki. I made a page just for this alone.

Are far less popular, its usually that the heretic/hexen textures get placed into Doom than the other way around.

ahh ok, thanks for the link

 

well luckily it doesnt take more than a few minutes to put heretic or hexen textures in to a doom2 compatible wad file when using slade
