Ambush on gunfire

Hi again,

As you may know, I am making a Boom-compatible map. I wanted to have one area so whenever you fire your gun, monsters will teleport from another hidden room. However, I can't get this thing to work. Could anyone please provide an example? Thanks!

So you want, like, monster to wakes up and walk into teleporter? You can make sure it hears you by drawing a hidden tunnel to his closet or using J to join sector in playable area with his closet.

I tried it before, none of this worked (I unchecked the "Ambush players" flag on monsters).

You must've done something else wrong. Maybe forgot teleport destination thing? Used wrong kind of teleport (Like teleport to line with the same tag)

Actually, I don't hear any of monsters that woke up, they are still in the idle staye even when I fire the weapon.

Perhaps you didn't join the sectors or there's no window if you are using window. That's two options.

Maybe you should check the map (the outdoors section).

I looked at the map, you did not uncheck the ambush monsters flag. Your teleporter line is also too close to the wall so they won't have enough space to cross over it. Since the sectors are joined you do not need that thin "sound tunnel" to be present, either.
