OpenRift Posted December 29, 2021 (edited) Maybe I'm just not using WhackEd right, but there doesn't seem to be an option to edit Final Doom's text strings in DeHackEd format. The only difference is how the patch gets applied; any sourceport will handle it automatically, while the original DOS executables need specific support from the patching program. Wait I'm not thinking, they aren't because oldstyle dehacked strings required lookup and replacement. Strangely, whacked simply just lacks a table for Final Doom.
