@T.Will pretty intense map especially when you cross the bridge.  Had an intense time trying to get thru this without dying can I succeed? 

 

This was a crazy cool experience good times

@Skronkidonk nice little map but I'm sorry to report that the platforming really distracted me and annoyed me

 

I never understood the concept of platforming in Doom. All it does is slow the action and force the player to do parkour when all we want to do is fight monsters 

 

What really left a bad taste in my mouth was the fact that the platforms burned you which can be one of two things

 

1 : it feels like and oversight or lack of testing that these actually burn you

 

Or 

 

2: this was an intentional choice and just makes for offensive annoying gameplay and rude mapping

 

...

 

Either way I ended up cheating because I actually want to play Doom and not mess around with this stuff

Bug in MAP06... I fell through the floor in the area with the balcony and yellow key (I go through the big room, then hang a left, up the stairs, and BAM, stuck).

 

EDIT: I was not able to replicate this. Weird.

I really wanted to make an Alien Vendetta type map, so I incorporated some of my favorite maps from that wad into my own.

just played through all of this! started on hmp but moved up to UV when i got to map06. i hate to play favorites since this is all great fun, but map06 really takes it for me, i'm a sucker for exactly this kind of map. following with map07 was perfect lmao, big NoYe vibes. map08 is some aggressively stupid slaughter fun, i think just about anybody can enjoy it. for a speedmap project there are some incredibly well-calibrated fights and the pacing across the whole wad is great.

@DCG Retrowave this map was completely off the rails and unexpected. I was never quite sure what was going to happen. I also forgot that it was map 7 and what that could mean. The weirdest point of all was actually having void sectors to fight revenants in. It was actually pretty cool in it's absurdity. These maps are crazy lol

Well, just finished it today.

 

Here are my thoughts on MAP07... What in the actual fuck did I just play? It's like a absurd slaughtermap with a Windows 95 MIDI and some LSD type shit. @DCG Retrowave you mad man!

 

Also MAP08, I did fairly well on compared to a few slaughtermap WADs I've attempted, I didn't reach 100% kills but it's something I enjoyed when it comes to slaughtermaps. Also the MIDI pretty much fits well with it.
