Good Doom walking sims?

just turn on -nomonster and call it a day. I wouldn't recommend something like sunlust or miasma or you'll have to wait minutes after getting trapped in a fight.

I'd say any of the doom wads with massive megalithic structures are good walking sims if you had the -nomonster (or I think -skill 0 also works) parameter. Tried it for some Sunder maps and it was pretty neat.

came here to recommend this, such a wonderful mod that gets around some of the issues caused by monsters not existing in the first place in some maps. also +1 to sunder w/ nomonsters (or Tourism Deluxe), especially maps 31+32.

Yep +1 for Sunder, or Sunlust with -nomonsters. I took an hour doing a reccy run with no monsters in Sunder's latest map (20).

That City 17 recreation, which I have yet to check out.  The National Videogame Museum wad could be an interesting choice either without monsters or with -notarget active as a number of monster starting positions seem to be for the purpose of scene setting.
