Just for fun: PWAD Timelines

Apparently, all PWADs are canon, so what if we added more fuel to that fire?

 

I propose a very convoluted hodgepodge of a mess ^{(slight exaggeration)}, or as I'd like to call it, a timeline!

 

Discuss where things should go, suggest stuff or make your own!

I'd like to think that both happen at the same time because doomguy was overdosing on Berserks and thought the imp was a hot waifu.

For some reason, your example just feels right. Especially with MM trilogy and the Icarus duology leading into Alien Vendetta. Good stuff.

 

I feel like Demonfear and maybe Kama Sutra could fit in the Final Doom / Revolution! / Revilution story arc. I wonder what @P41R47 has to say about this. He, I, and a few others are of the opinion that story adds, rather than hinders, classic Doom.

It's a nice template, and it's got a lot of sense, here it's my take to expand on yours ideas. There many more to add but i need to think more time.

We could think of it as Doomguy's house, and place it at the start of the timeline before Doom 1.

Updated the thing. I consider Brutal Doom coupled with Extermination Day to be its own thing.

The “all wads are canon” thing - I think the idea is that, according to lore, all the wads in existence are the fate Doomguy cemented for himself when he decided to stay in Hell as a gatekeeper of sorts. They’re his “trials and tribulations as Hell’s door man”, making sure nothing gets back to Earth. It all takes place between the ending of Doom64 and Start of Doom4. That’s the lore, anyway!

I've thought about this, but all I came up with was Hadephobia probably following Shadows of the Nightmare Realm. Phobia: The Age may come between them, but I'm not completely sure when it feels like the only way to truly experience that wad is to dig up a suitably powerful computer from 2006 and play it on that.
