If you're using a port like GZDoom, you can just set the sound output to emulate an OPL chip, specifically the OPL2 (YM3812/YM2413) or the OPL3 (YMF262). Won't be exact, but it'll be pretty close. (Nerdy aside: GEMS did some good soundtracks, but I could name others that were way better that had nothing to do with GEMS. I would know. I ripped quite a few of them for Project2612.)
