psx doom with the ps1 mouse

i'm trying to unlock both psx's doom versions retroachievements, final doom supports the ps1 mouse and it's perfectly playable on an emulator with it, but the original psx doom doesn't.

is there a way to implement final doom's ps1 mouse support on the original psx doom?
