Try to recreate TNT from memory! (Community Project)(Closed)

For the first time in my Doom life, I regrettably have to pull out of a community project. Sorry this is happening so late into it, but a convergence of external factors (sudden change of job, daughter leaving for uni) and my inability to map anything even remotely satisfactory from memory means I'd be delivering a map of no quality - I replayed the map three times, which is technically cheating, and still can't commit to memory any part of that steaming pile of crap that is Ballistyx. Again, sorry but, if I have to deliver manure, I'd rather not deliver at all. Hopefully all will understand.

Good news! I'd like to think I've managed to figure the drums out! Finished version should be out within the next 24 hours. I don't have a lot of time to work on it, so that's why development is somewhat slow. I'm relying a lot on long-term musical memory here hahah, luckily for drum pattern observation it's not necessarily to have listened to the track recently (which I have not). The melody was done more than a month ago, so it was more than a month when I last heard it. Had even cut it out of my playlists for the time being

Really sorry but im no longer in, that map is a nightmare to remember, also i didn't have fun either playing and mapping i joined the project on impulse without thinking about the consequences and without looking further the tnt maps, if you can remove me from my slot i would appreciate.

Looks like I'm taking MAP26. Once Habitat is finished I'll get working on Ballistyx and give it to you guys sometime in May.

In the same boat over here, except the drums/rhythm have been done and it's just the lead horn at the end now (so like 90% + done).  Still gonna try to get it out by 5/1, if I don't reply I haven't forgotten about the project, just very busy at the moment with work/side projects.

I'm sorry, @Engired, I don't make it on time. I do know that deadline will be extended, but I didn't wanted to fail the first deadline. So I have nothing to show yet.

Alright, looks like I actually managed to get this one out on the deadline.

Backstory: To make this track a bit more interesting/unpredictable, I actually did this one 100% by memory with no listens to the original track beforehand.  I learned the bass line years ago and it managed to (mostly) come back through some muscle memory and vigilance.  Everything else in this track from the drums to leads are a complete guess to what I thought the original sounded like, so expect many mistakes throughout.  Meant to be played with the SC-55 soundfont for accurate playback.

PS: if anything like velocity, panning needs to be sorted out just let me know and I'll fix it.

Apologies... here you go. Finished it, though the drums fucked with me on a spiritual level so they're not the best come the end. Aware it's not perfect but I hope it'll do.

Finally started making the map. I can't recall all the relative positioning of things or what size they are supposed to be, or what textures are there, but I'll turn in something in a couple of days.

Infinite is also a much simpler song.

Apologies for the lack of updates. I haven't really had the motivation to work on my map for the past month, but I'm starting to get back into it. Here's a W.I.P automap screenshot:

I like this "yellow" touch, its some egyptian style (its just my opinion)
