Pink Doom maps?

Hi everyone,

 

I’ve got a bit of a strange request here; my girlfriend is a big fan of the colour pink, and recently we somehow managed to get onto the topic of doom maps with a pink colour scheme. I managed to think of a few, but I’m not very experienced with the majority of doom maps because I’m relatively new to doom and also suck too much for most slaughter, so I figured you guys might be able to help me come up with a few more examples?

 

The kinds of maps I’m thinking of are like this:

 

• The original release of Technicolor Antichrist Box, with its pretty blue and pink colour scheme is a very good example

 

 

• There’s a Ribbiks map of some kind that I remember seeing in Roots that I thought looked really pretty, with a more magenta/pink colour alongside the black, that is the only other example I actually know of

 

 

So yeah, if any of you can think of any other examples of maps that have a pink colour scheme, I would greatly appreciate the help, but if not, thanks for reading the thread anyway!

Fruit Salad has a pink palette included in a separate wad file:

Cosmogenesis also changes the red range to pink:

Refracted Reality spans all sorts of colors, but MAP01 is very pink:

That's the final area of MAP07: Magnus from Stardate 20X6, for the record. The mapset and its sequel Stardate 20X7 are notable for using the colour purple extensively.

There's actually less pink in this than you'd expect, but it gets a nomination anyways:

1 Bad Wad includes a map with pink/magenta motifs, seconding Fruit Salad specially with the pink palette you can have baron and hell knight fireballs look like gum. This one also has shades of pink among other atypical colours. 

 

Mind that these examples are of challenging gameplay so don't miss on different skill levels in case they're implemented.

I think magnolia uses some color pink, but it's mostly cyan so I guess you won't be interested.

Probably not what you are looking for, but for what it is worth, the first thing I thought of was the pink subsection of Hell Ground map04, Warp of Time

Likely some inspiration was taken from Alien Vendatta map31, Killer Colours, as there are also blue, green, and fiery metal subsections, along with endless brown tunnels, and Doom's tallest animated waterfall texture.

It's not a map, but I do remember reading about a ZDaemon session with a Valentines Day-themed palette wad with the red replaced with pink and the plasma and BFG shots replaced with hearts. Now if only I could remember exactly which one that was...
