Should there be any forced pistol starts? I'm certainly putting one in the secret exit of map15, and the end of map 29 if that's cool

I don't thinkkkk so? it'd be kind of arbitrary, unless there was a story reason for doing so (Ex: A security guard forcing Doomguy to leave his weaponry by the door)

Upload the image on Imgur, it will give you a link for posting it on boards (BBBoard or something like that), copy and paste it in the post.

If you go to image option in imgur and select the BBoard link (copy/paste) you can paste the image right in your post :) just as if it was a quote!

This filled up quick - congrats, @forgettable pyromaniac! Shame I'm late to the party, but this project does seem interesting and I've been meaning to make a proper vanilla map, so if anyone drops their spot, feel free to pen me in.

 

Also, I'm available for MIDI composition duties should anyone need a bespoke track for their map.

For my map05 im going for a fake-ish medival-like (AKA Medival-like but with modern features) eerie vibe, do you think im doing it so far with these images?

I think Forgettable Pyro said something about a map35 slot, I guess you could try to use that?

That's honestly quite a nice thing of you.

 

Not sure if I myself need a MIDI cause my maps aren't finished and I honestly would prefer if a midi was made after the map is made so the midi itself represents what the map is about better than if it was made during progress on the map.

 

But at the same time, I'm not sure what tracks to use for my maps.

Then again, I don't really feel good about myself when I have to ask someone who can do something I can't (Like you making midis and I can't), feels like I have to beg for them to make me something lmao.

Should have a working alpha sometimes in the next couple days - a couple pathways are giving me a bit of trouble, not used to mapping for max compatibility.

 

Wooden library with stock textures only, the map's theme is 'facerocket'.
