Interesting concept!

Maybe change the title, because it makes me (and probably other people as well) about a Speedmapping project. Or just put a precise deadline / a fixed time for mapping (example 6 hours) for the project if you want to keep the "speed" in your project.

Also, there's a texture pack for this? From the pics looks like there's one... Did we can use our textures as well?

If I'm ever gonna place a fixed time it would be around 2-3 days. I want to keep the maps short but still elaborate(relatively) Because the first map I made(before the idea of this project came) took me 2 days, and I think that will be enough to pull off a short and still nice map.

Or I guess I'll just remove "speed" lmao

The textures are mostly from Magnolia and Stardate20x7. And sure, you can use your own textures, but I'm not sure if the new color palette will screw them up.

Sorry for bumping this thread, but I wanted to know whether this wad's been completed yet? I was looking for more of your maps to play (loved Newt and Mucus Empire) and I saw this thread and its dormancy and....yeah I was just curious.

 

(Unless this is supposed to be a 32-map megawad in which case I totally understand everyone taking their time.)

That huge texture (you know the one) in MAP05 needs a power of 2 width (256, 512, 1024, etc.) to not get cut off.

I knew this was going to be good but it ended up being one of my favorite releases of the year.  Amazing job and thank you to everyone who contributed to this. :)
