New Heretic wad - The Cathedral & Catacombs

Is it allowed to post Heretic stuff?!

 

Hey! 3 years ago, I made a 2-levels Doom wad called "The Cathedral". I always wanted to convert it to Heretic so I finally did it! The wad includes 2 maps, 2 custom decorations from Doom 2 and a lot of additions from the Doom version.

 

The maps use ZDoom port and I tested it with GZDoom 3.7.2

I placed a 2nd start location so 2-player coop is possible.

 

The maps are big, with about 200-250 mobs per map on skill 4 and a LOT of decorations.

 

e1m1 and e1m2 are replaced

Freelook is recommended

Jumping and crouching is disabled

Very good stuff. The cathedral part proper is pretty spicy, especially once you get the rod. Had fun with this one!

Very nice! My favorite part is the second map's green door area! 

Really nice set pieces, engaging battles, and a secret hunt for sure. 

I've only encountered two bugs while playing though. 

1. Music doesn't play for the two replaced maps naturally.
