Pixel Fiend Posted March 16, 2022 (edited) Hi, I have this problem that when I add another resource in Ultimate Doom Builder after Doom 4 Vanilla and OTEX, the OTEX walls end up black while testing. Any idea what might be causing this? As a temporary solution I shove all new textures into OTEX file but this is really clumsy and hampers my work on the map. ViolentBeetle Posted March 16, 2022 In Doom/Boom compatible format the textures are defined in a one or two lumps called TEXTURE1 and TEXTURE2 - and also require patches definition in PNAMES. This means that you indeed need to copy all textures from one wad to another. Current version of SLADE is smart enough merge them by copying and pasting content. You probably going to need to bundle the textures with your wad when you are done anyway. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
