Barron1r Posted March 21, 2022 So I am trying to replace all of the zombieman textures with my own custom ones. (I just made 1 texture so far as a test). I successfully managed to import the pwad with the textures into Whacked. (All of the "replaced" textures are the same except for the one I modified). It all seems to work, except when I playtest it. (I just drag the .deh file into the gzdoom executable to test it) All the zombiemen turn into frozen red signs. I did not modify the zombies in any way except for replacing their textures in whacked. I'm not sure why this is occurring... 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

JadingTsunami Posted March 21, 2022 You can't just load the DEH file, you have to load the WAD/PK3 with the replacement sprites as well. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post

Okay I missed a step in the tutorial I was following (I add the .deh file into slade). Now it works. Thank you very much. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
