Your dog is lucky, because chicken bones are notorious for splitting and they can easily choke on them. Expand Happend to my Cat, i knew about that and wanted to trash that instantly, was about to do it, only turning around and he eat one. Was at a Weekend in the Evening and i had to go to a Emergency Doctor, at those Times they cash tripple. So 2000€ to save that little two Months old Theft. azerty Posted April 9, 2022 (edited) My cat walked on the eating table while everyone was in the kitchen and ran away with half a chicken that is nearly as big as her. We had to run after her to get it. The other half was pretty tasty though. Edited April 9, 2022 by azerty 1 Quote Share this post Link to post

BGreener Posted April 9, 2022 The worst thing so far has been when he was barely out of being a puppy. He’s a bit of a food bully, and during one evening we neglected that and he ran over and ate the dinner of our two other dogs. His stomach couldn’t take it. That night he made a huge mess in his cage, I had to clean it and give him a wash. The morning after was roughly ten times worse. It was an absolutely awful mess, poor buddy. At the least, I’m thankful I had the day off; I would’ve had to call in! 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
Murdoch Posted April 11, 2022 This just came up in my Facebook memories from about 12 years ago. I had just started looking after my Dad's old place after he moved in with his now wife, and he left behind his old dog Jock because he didn't want to force him to have to change. I loved the dog dearly and was all too happy to have his company. First time leaving the house I thought "Hmm, probably best I put him in the wash house". Jock respectfully disagreed with this decision and proceeded to construct a crude but effective doggie door to the outside. 2 Quote Share this post Link to post

PsychEyeball Posted April 21, 2022 Our family dog ended up killing a bird by chewing it up badly. It did shatter my perception that animals wouldn't attack others for no good reason... The other bad thing she did was to be very wanderlust. At younger ages we had to be very careful letting the dog outside because it would just flee and roam all over the neighborhood because it could. This happened way too many times to count. At some point my parents just had it and decided they wouldn't pursue her to get her back home. Luck thankfully had it that she did find her way back home willingly. This would be the last time she'd flee, from what my parents told me. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
