I know a lot of slade stuff so if needed I can manage that. Putting all the graphics in, adding music, mapinfo, ...

I'm trying really hard to make MAP07 look nice since it's kinda like a mini-boss level because it's halfway through the WAD, although I'm not sure how to use the Tag 666 behaviour in a clever way.

When all the levels are done, make sure to put them in a zip along with music (should be midi) graphics, etc...

EDIT : oh wait give that to azerty.

any input you or any other people might have for me about how I can make the boss level a boss level would be most welcome! :-)

I just made a bunch of progress, then went into slade to add custom music and for some reason it converted the map01 map into a regular marker and now I can't open the map in slade or my editor

maybe a staged brawl slowly getting more difficult, ending in a showdown with multiple boss enemies, ending in a forced facerocket to finish the map? might be overkill

@Codename_Delta Setting up a list of all the map slots and who took them would be very helpful to me. It would make it easier for me to set all the maps in one file and it would be handy for playtesting purposes. I think this could also help others because it's always useful to have a overview of all the map slots. It's just a suggestion though.

a staged brawl: like teleport closets that activate as the player explores the level?

a showdown with multiple boss enemies: like a spider mastermind and a cyberdemon?

a forced facerocket to finish the map: what is a forced facerocket? do you mean the romero head being shot by a rocket?

I think perhaps a required rocket jump? It's rather out there but maybe you could build a section where you have to rocket jump while under the effects of invulnerability or something, to prevent the player from killing themself.

i think they mean to make the exit under a short gap. to force you  to rocket urself and die. when you die your player height is reduced, allowing to go under certain gaps and exit through a w1 exit level line

first one I meant waves of enemies spawning but I like your idea more

Maybe a few boss enemies like 3 cybers and 2 spiders

it was fun, that cyber was a surprise and the surplus megas helped a lot, I honestly didn't expect the skeleton and the angry flame boi. maybe some secrets would be nice unlocking more of the level or something similar.

In the pain elemental room on the computer. also where the blue key markers are There used to be a switch that didn't work and I couldn't remove the markers so I just made the blue door directly openable with the blue key

Nope still no key. I am playing on GZDoom. I just tested it with DSDA and it apears but not on GZDoom ..... that's weird.
