Monsters decorate walk forward without strafing.

DOOM! I got a question - is there possible to make monster walk forward to player without their strafing animations. You know - DOOM monster when chases player walks right and left and than forward instead walks just forward the player.
I was trying CHF_NODIRECTIONTURN function but it looks like it doesn't work for this problem. Can someone help me with this?

Look at what Kinsie did in his Deathmatch simulator. He used combination of A_facetarget and A_recoil with negative numbers. But be prepared that the monsters will fall into pits.
