What country are you from?

Recommended Posts

I'm from Seoul, Republic of Korea - Some people call it "South Korea" or "Southern sector of DPRK" but I call it "Republic of Korea"

I like the name "land of morning calm", it sounds so cozy.

I liked it firstly but after I found that it was not meant to be call Korea as "cozy" country but "powerless" country, I'm not a big fan of that phrase.

I'm from Norway. I thought there'd be lots more Norwegians here for some reason (I've only seen one in this thread), because old-school Doom is exactly the kind of thing a certain breed of Norwegian seems to enjoy.

Not sure if I mentioned this before, but I'm Australian, I recently realised how many Doom Youtube people are Aussie, like Carl Jobst and Good Sir Doomkid.

And Mick Gordon, the Doom Eternal Djent music guy as well.

And the guy who made TNT map 26.

And at least half a dozen people back in the day who made Doom wads in Maximum Doom.

And one of the guys on Tarnsman's Twitch Doom streams.

And John Carmack

You are british?

My explanation: America is great, so I made a reference to 2 songs, the star spangled banner, our national anthem, and America the beautiful.

And the bri'ish joke?

Because British people can't say "t" such as bottle of water becoming "ba'ah o wa'ah."  Now, Americans believe this lore: (no offense)
