Hell Interface Posted May 4, 2022 (edited) Made another little "vanilla" map over the weekend to kill time waiting for playoffs to start! The new one is the map02. I combined my last map as map01. BUT, I also made A LOT of fixes to that one (map01) for this, making it not so much of a hard and unfair headache so it should play much better now. I would suggest playing it too even if you did before, both are short maps. Both are 69 monsters and 4 secrets. Heads up this map is actually not as good as my first one IMO. I seemed to have gotten faster but not "better" >,< One day I will actually take the time to make some architecture that makes sense with indoor/outdoor instead of my wacky dr seus mapping...maybe Both maps: ------------- Name: blindwound2 Difficulty: uv Jumping: no Crouching: no Freelook: doesn't really matter Monsters: 69 resources: doom2.wad and a james paddock song Format: doom2 Secrets: 4 Tested with: zandronum pistol start: preferred . TheCyberDruid Posted May 4, 2022 The first map is quite confusing (got to the secret before I figured out that the deep pit is actually the way forward). Shooting revenants with the shotgun is not fun. Anyway some interesting design choices and the choice of textures was pretty good. The second map is very vertical. Not bad at all. The revenant fight in the main room could do with a pillar that is not the fleshy thing in the middle. A bit too much teleporting, but otherwise the map plays fine. You didn't even bother getting the secrets yet you still did rly well.
