Do you destroy all the explosive barrels or leave them?

In Doom,  things must go BOOM.

And I just had a thought, what would you think about a custom enemy that'd be a mimic barrel? Like, it looks like a regular barrel but runs towards you if you get to close, leading to explosive and deadly hilarity?

If it's not in my way or I'm low on ammo I won't bother.

If I can use the explosion to hurt a monster or the barrel poses an environmental hazard to me, then I blow 'em up.

Prematurely by the time I see them, wasting my ammo, then I notice some of them were placed for a purpose, to use them for blowing enemies that spawn later, but it's too late now.

I typically like to save them to be useful in killing hordes of monsters, so I don't waste ammo but.... otherwise... I do quite like seeing them explode lol. I may not shoot them all every time, but when I am in the mood, sure.

Only in multiplayer, it's funny when you get a quad-kill by blowing up a barrel next to your buddy and some demons.
