Cryogenics demos [-complevel 9]

Demos for Cryogenics.

Didn't find runs for the wad, so I recorded some with simple goal just to beat them, first-worst exits. I hope they will be improved:

  Played out this map, tired of it.

  This is the hardest in the set and I think unbeatable on UV max. The reason is the secret fight. It's a grave. Don't waste your time on it, straight bs staging from Chillax that will make you remember its cruelty 4ever. Just think for a sec about one thing in this encounter: you're in a middle of a closed-off area between 2 cybers snipers above that can't be reached or distracted and you can't hide from their rockets.
  Bad enough that you're an open target, you are immiditely getting surrounded. Fuck blocking, here is something even more surprising. Last group of teleporting monsters are archviles, sounds normal but there are many of them and if you won't rush them wide open right after their appearance...checkmate! It's mandatory, rush or die from horror. Let the TAS be with you.      

  I tried to nail the UV speed for 2 days, no notable progress and lost all interest that had been left. Cannot pass the barons after YK even once but the problem is with achies that just wont settle down (targeting) and with nonsense blocking from everything just drives me crazy. Uv max is much appropriate for this map but ignoring the secret fight will give UV speed as the result, and Uv speed from the start is much harder choice then UV max cause it's only about speed...

  Very lazy TAS cryo4tas1108.zip (only slight slowmo) for map4 UV speed category is easy to give first try and in here I didn't skip the last encounter but actually it's skipable. Just a demonstration; normal UV speed is doable under 10 min so this TAS is slower, lol

  Every death inbetween 2 min and 3 min (after secret mega) in normal UV speed run was so annoying that I change an approach and start killing the surrounding archies and still expirienced so powerfull agression from monsters on my route that I decided to better spare my time

The last area of map03 is quite entertaining to watch. Thanks for the demos.

Exactly! I did not even think about it, but it's probably the most entertaining part of the map, in different aspects. On other side I have almost a step by step guide on how to get it done for the max. If I remember correctly my first playthrough of the map and specificly of this part was obviously slow and about exploring how tight a knot around all the monsters can be made with circle strafing tactics. I tightened it to maximum at the end enjoing the infights but I couldn't threw a noose from the start and spin like a hula hoop everytime. Most likely I'll be curious about this part than any other part of the map and on the other hand I'd watch the details overall since I have an idea of the difficulty here
