Remnant Texture Pack – Egyptian themed texture set (updated)

In this texture pack, you will find a collection of ~100 original Egyptian themed textures to use when creating your Doom maps. The pack also includes some extra goodies for you to place in your maps.

 

These textures were designed for UDMF, but a version in the Doom palette is also available.

 

PLEASE READ THE MANUAL THAT COMES IN THE ZIP FILE. Inside the manual, you will learn how to effectively use some of the decorative objects in your maps. A few of them have their own settings you can change inside the editor for more customization and flexibility.

 

It's also worth mentioning that the sky textures are actual sky boxes. You can find their names in the "gldefs" lump inside the pk3.

Bricks seem to convert nicely, but some things I'm particularly interested in do not. If I can make them more cooperative, I will maybe share select few as a wad.

I just wish someone could start a Egypt-themed community project with this resource pack...

After giving it some thought, I decided to make a version that's in the Doom palette. Everything except the skybox textures and water texture has been converted because they're made for UDMF features only.

Maybe it'll spark someone's interest some day...I have actually considered doing this myself a few times, but I unfortunately don't have much time to do any big projects at the moment..
