i'm pretty sure map 30 will break if it's in that slot so we need to swap it with another map that will work in that slot, what map would work best for a swap?

That's long since been taken care of, current map 30 does not have a single monster teleport closet, everything is pre-placed.

I guess that's about it. @Thatonespymain throw in title/intermission midis if you want to, and we should be good enough for RC1 thread. Probably rename this one to [Development thread] as well when you put it out.

I've found that fix already, should be fine in the alpha7 compilation.

I've got a selection of midis that might work well for the intermission. Obviously we can't use them all, but I'll let you pick which ones we'll use if any of them at all. They're all midi translations of Cryoshell songs. Thought it'd be fitting given the homage to Bionicle: Heroes in the TITLEPIC.

I've been playing through a bit of the wad here and there, and I'm sorry to say I'm not a fan of the intermission midi. I agree, Pink Floyd is a great choice, but this midi rendition isn't doing it much justice. That organ instrument is just too loud and obnoxious in the midi. If you want my recommendation, try this midi translation of High Hopes by Pink Floyd and see how it feels:

Replayed my submission recently and was shocked by how annoying it is.

So I decided to do some serious rebalance, make it less unforgiving and hopefully more fun for casual play.

Also added some subtle lightning effects and removed some nonsense items that were ruining speedrunning for no good reason.

High Hopes is a much better choice and i feel stupid for not thinking of that, also the division bell is genuinely underrated and im glad we can put something from that album in the wad
