Nice, carefully planned, tightly played E4M2 max. The action of classic UDoom wads (like Crusades or 2002 A Doom Odyssey) is very well-fitting for your playing style.

I believed E4M3 is tricaholic-proof and yellow key cannot be grabbed. So, if anyone is interested, UV Speed record is 4:19 and could be cut down to 2:00 or lower. I cannot grab that key, BTW :)

I really enjoyed this WAD casually but noticed it doesn't have many demos outside of the UV Max category, so I ended up doing my first set of speed demos. I did grind for what felt like a respectable enough time, but I'm sure each could still be improved. Big shoutout to Napsalm, Billa, Maribo and anyone else who helped me get set up or answered any of my dumb ass speedrunning questions. :D

I redid the E4M3 NoMo after realising that yellow key grab is indeed possible after watching Skepticist's UV Max -- 15 second save there. Now with correct "o" in the filename, oops, definitely remembering that.

I didn't expect I would get this run on a tired late night attempt, in fact I expected having to grind a couple more days for it, so apologies for the double post.

 

Episode 4 UV Max in 48m13s, a hair shy of 37 minutes faster than the older Michael Novikov run. Definitely some seconds lost on each map compared to my practice PBs, and definitely some shaky moments towards the end so it's beatable if anyone wants to try, but I'm content enough. Happy I got the rocket jump on E4M8 because rocket jumps are cool. :]
