Swinging Light - Attached Dynamic Light

Moebius

Question

I have a MD3 model light that swings like a pendulum.  I can attach a dynamic light to it in GLDEFS, but the process appears to just position the light relative to the base of the bounding box.  So it just sits in one spot and doesn't move while the model swings back and forth.

I've attached lights to MD3 model elevators and the light moves up and down with the elevator.  But it too is also just in one spot relative to the base of the bounding box.  Seems the OFFSET is fixed to the 0,0,0 of the ACTOR.  If the 0,0,0 doesn't move, neither will the light

Any way to get the light to swing back and forth with the pendulum-like MD3 model?

Can anyone confirm this is not possible?

I keep trying different things with little luck.  The best I came up with was using Actor Mover, a tagged dynamic light, and several interpolation points.  Doesn't look like I'd want for my MAP.  Once I got the dynamic light working I tried making it a dynamic spotlight.  The cone of light from the dynamic spotlight would flip 180 degrees at the start interpolation point and then back to where it should be for the rest of the interpolation points, until i got back to the start again.  Except for the one flip, this might be usable.  But I can't get the flip to not flip.
