I haven't much time at all to record ATM, but here's one demo at least:

Slugfest by Shamus Young, map09 UV Pacifist in 0:52.

The zip also includes a Pacifist on map10, but it is kind of trivial.

I don't get this, really. Slugfest.wad by Shamus Young has 10 short maps, EXTREMELY demo-friendly, and... 2 demos at DSDA?

MAP02 - 2:18
MAP03 - 2:08
MAP05 - 1:33 - all UV Max

You can tell by the times that these are short ones, and I assure you they are not about killing zombiemen with a pistol :)

I thrown in an UV "walkthrough" Max on the Doom II version of Artifact.wad by Paul Schmitz (MAP01 only - 13:19), so there's another historical collection, from 1995. If you have ideas what to record from 1996 (excellent WADs without many demos are ideal candidates), please let me know.

vdgg: you are right about slugfest's demo friendliness, i saw your map01 max and had to give it a try. sorry for beating your time, i had some ideas that worked out quite nicely. :)

Not many UV-Maxers today (if any) have your level of movement or smoothness. You really should record more Maxes, even if you enjoy UV-Speed more. Watching that demo reminded me of Hegyi's trademark style. :)

Getting around that mancubus quick enough is tricky due to its "fatness" at the corner of the cramp hallway. 10 seconds might be possible.

thanks for the praise. not sure about the hegyi comparison though, i'd be happy with reaching tgh's current level. anyways, i recorded more slugfest maxes. :)

I just read your posts on the "door blazing" technique, so I decided to try out map 31 -nomo without it. End result? Spent an hour trying to get below 33 seconds. When I used it, I hit 31.xx after a couple of attempts... I really need to start ingraining that move into my door opening habits. :)

Anyways, here's lvl31 -nomo with no "door blazing" in 32.31. No clue on how to name the file, but who cares.
