I did decide to play this: this isn't too bad! Some people will bitch "what if e1m1 but hell" is a massively overplayed theme but the detailing is nice and the replication of the secrets is about as faithful as one could hope. Some people will probably curse the rocket launcher placement, but c'mon, that's their problem for skipping through the map ;p) Demo recorded in complevel 2 on DSDA Doom, which I realize is technically incorrect now.

i loved the first bit. the starting felt like e3/4 styled. however, i kinda felt a small quality drop in the part after the rocket launcher. it was still good though

Good hell-themed version of the map! After playing through it I can say there's just enough extra detail that it doesn't feel like it's just the original with hell textures slapped on.
