Circumcision is a set of 13 boom-compatible maps designed to be played with the only weapon given to the player, named in the map name too. Literally a shitpost, each map was made in 20 minutes as separate doom challenges. It's intended to be beaten UV-Max, every other difficulty other than UV is a cyberdemon hell! Every map is possible, we've beaten all of them. Also no crouching, jumping or freelook, the wad was tested on dsdadoom and it use DOOM2 iwad. For more info read the txt.

if you dont want people to play on lower difficulties you can directly remove them througt mapinfo

 

random fact: the coordinates on map11 intertext are from a random place on italia

Pacifist map, a bunch of STARTAN2 mashed up with shitpost texture maps, a half decent rocket jump platforming map, and a cyberdemon + BFG two-shot gauntlet.

i copied the dark corridor idea from an italo doom map so i guess that's why it's the only good part

A good Max player knows when to pacifist through fights. Why would you put yourself through a Baron meat grinder that rivals Hell Revealed, when the cyber and mancubi can do the job for you?

I misunderstood, i am not saying to not make infighting, i am saying to do 100% kills. Pacifist doesn't require 100% kills i think.

In fairness, they did mention it's "literally a shitpost" (unless that was added later, idk) and probably part of the "joke" is that it's being treated as a real mapset, but I'm pretty sure that's also been done since the beginning of time.  I'm not sure if there is any joke apart from "it's dumb and it sucks, and also lolmemes", which isn't really actually a joke and definitely not an original one.

"JokeWAD" really has become short-hand for, "half-arsed rubbish I farted out in an afternoon to amuse myself and waste people's time" huh? People really ought to research Going Down for a lesson in what a well-made WAD with a sense of humour actually looks like.

I think the real joke is Doomworld losing its mind over what are otherwise some decent (for 20-minute speedmaps, at least) weapon-oriented studies because its authors decided to call it Circumcision.wad and texture it with STARTAN and memes...
