Is DSDArchive safe?

My antivirus is flagging the DSDArchive as a dangerous webpage, and whenever I try to download something from there, my antivirus will cancel the download and say "malicious download canceled".

Of course it's safe, if there were any viruses or any other malicious programs, lots of people would already complained about it in forums. You need to whitelist it or change your antivirus program settings.

Xit-Vono informed me recently that the old DSDA domains are now hosts to phishing sites or other scams, like gambling, and there are a lot of old links around DW that might take you to them. Not much that can be done except fix them when discovered, just be safe and check that it takes you to the proper url before you click.

Oh damn, I can get Bonzi Buddy from here? I've been looking for it forever. I remember that I first downloaded it from www.freegiveaway5000lotteryprizesurveyrussianmilf4u.com, but that website seems to be out of business now.

 

Seriously though, if it's a website well-known to the community, the answer is almost always going to be "yes". Most always-on AV software is shit. Just make sure you're actually going to the right website^^^
