philcul Posted August 12, 2022 Well, the problem is in the title. When I lower the sound volume of the music for example at 0 but keep the effects sound volume at 15 I the de facto sound volume of the sound effects is also non existent: I can't hear anything. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
Demion Posted August 12, 2022 I'm not at home to check, but this used to happened to me. I think it was something related to using SDL, instead of FluidSynth or Portmidi. Try changing to FS or PM. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Hitboi Posted August 12, 2022 (edited) I remember this used to happen to me too, but now I use VirtualMIDISynth, it's an external midi program so this doesn't happen to me now. Edited August 13, 2022 by Hitboi 1 Quote Share this post Link to post

Affects all of the SDL ports that don't offer other midi synth options. This has been an issue with SDL_Mixer for over a decade so I'm not sure it will ever be fixed. 3 Quote Share this post Link to post
