Doom 64 official port vs Doom 64 ex

Doom 64 is currently free on epic games and i wonder if i should get that port or just stick with good ol 64 ex

My point is, it's a tiny download and it's free. It probably not make your computer explode. What do you have to lose by just downloading it and trying it for yourself?

When playing old games i always research for the best version of that said game first then play it

the official port is basically the latest version of doom 64 ex
