Ghostly_Pops Posted August 24, 2022 Im VERY new to mapping (started today) im using SLADE on linux. Everything was going okay, made a simple map. Tried to test it in doom 2 and it gives me this annoying error: W_CacheLumpNum: %i >= numlumps. Kappes Buur Posted August 24, 2022 (edited) The problem is that Slade3 map editor saved the pwad with an incomplete list of lumps whereas a complete list, which is required by some game engines to work without throwing a hissy fit, looks like this I myself do not use Slade3 to create maps, but I know that Eureka works well with Linux, and, in my opinion, is easier to use. Sinshu Posted August 24, 2022 I believe that a node builder is necessary for SLADE to make a map playable. Download some node builder and indicate its path in the "Map Editor -> Node Builder" setting menu. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
