Tested only on GZDoom and uses the Ultimate Doom Builder format.

An oddly nostalgic, yet unnerving experience. Unfortunately I couldn't finish it because of those obnoxiously tank-y smiley faces. The music is funny at first, but it's way too short so it loops constantly and also gets way too loud at certain points. Near the end of my playthrough, I had to turn my music volume all the way down for the sake of my sanity.

I honestly tried to give it a chance, but I can't stand spongy enemies with insane amount of damage in crumpled maze with dead ends.

 

Sorry, but this is not my cup of tea.

I absolutely love this concept--classic Doom definitely lends itself well to that liminal/nostalgiacore/backrooms type vibe.

But yeah, I agree that the enemies take way too many hits for it to really be much fun to play. I'd also dial back the music a bit and maybe add some variations in lighting just so it's not so monotonous to look at; maybe have it gradually get darker and shadowier the deeper you get into the maze or something.

No, but it does feel like a jokewad. Open GL guy is like the yeti from that Flash game. There ain't no stoppin' him!

That and the pipes screensavers kept me distracted for suuuuuper long as a kid, sounds like parenting me was easy
